Lovely looking kettle and a better size for us than the standard Le Creuset kettle which looks huge. We use this on our induction hob and it boils two mugs of water quicker than a standard electric (plug-in) kettle. We had been searching for this kettle in 'Dune' colour for some time before finding out that it's not available in the UK. The bigger version comes in a dozen or so colours but the Demi model is only available in red or white in the UK so we had to order this from the US. I always bought the cheaper stainless steel kettles and they were alright but I wanted something better. So I paid the extra money and was very glad I did. The whistle works great and is not too loud or painful to the ears. Water boils quickly, kettle looks great on the stove. This attractive tea kettle blends two colors in a very attractive way. I believe it is the only Le Creuset Tea Kettle with two colors that merge. It has worked perfecly for months with no problems and has an easily heard whistle when the steam comes out.
