I was very impressed with this Decanter when it arrived. It is so beautiful, and very heavy, truly royal in the finest of words. Holds plenty and this will not topple over, it takes two hands to pour from it if hands are small and a strong larger mans hand can pour it single handed. Excellent well fitted stopper. We use it for church Communion service and it adds to the holiness of the service. Very pleased, you will be too. Well worth every penny in my opinion.

Heavy, stylish, Sets off the bar. Just has that look of distinction that makes it look like it belongs on a high class bar top. Does it well with out even saying a word. Just pour your favorite beverage in it, and I swear you will be saying the same thing. "Damn that looks good up there!" You will want another for your two favorite drinks. Ok, maybe you only have one. I happen to have two. But you will not be disappointed, I guarantee.

so this is the decanter i chose after looking at 50 different sizes and designs. I broke it. How did I break it? I was picking up my glass carafe off the table and hit the corner of the decanter. The corner shattered into tiny pieces. I ruined the JW blue label that was inside. I'm not sure if I am just clumsy or if the construction of the decanter had anything to do with it. It was a beautiful piece.

The glass stopper is loose and is not ground to fit the decanter. This is usually a sign of a high quality hand-finished piece. Noticing some evaporation of the contents of the decanter and considering returning it now. I had ordered another Ravenscroft product before realizing this defect. I may need to return the second one if the problem exists on the new one as well.
