I have always liked hard anodized cookware. No nonstick coatings to worry about. The pot is very thick and distributes heat evenly. The handles stay cool enough to the touch to pick up the pot without a potholder. Nice size for making breakfast food and gravy

Heavy so sauces and gravy does well, and the size is great, 1.5 quart. I was using a 1 quart lighter pan and love the extra room and the weight this one has.Best Deals for Calphalon 1.5-qt. Commercial Hard-Anodized Sauce Pan.
I wish I could find more of this cookware. This little pot is a treasure! I love that it isn't non-stick as i'm trying to move away from that and toward longer lasting investments in pots and pans.I took away one star because the lid handle gets hot. I see they have remedied that in the newer, non-stick models.

this is the best sauce pan ever the calphalon are the best because even when you burn them (and I have many many times) they can be cleaned and then used again!!! I cannot recommend this enough!!!
