We use alot of pots similar to this in the large banquet kitchen that I work in. I commonly make countless gallons in tilt skillets, but in my home kitchen, this is king. I have just recently purchased it from a local restaurant supply store and the thing is very impressive for the price. These rondeaus usually run about 200 for something the same size and gauge. I also have an electric coil stove, and if I fill it with water for example, the water heats well throughout the pot in a very reasonable amount of time. The aluminum clad bottom is a very nice even conductor. Would recommend this to anyone. Very versatile pot. I purchased this 10 qt. pan from my local restaurant supply store on a close-out here in Bangor, ME. I only wish I had gone into this store years earlier and noticed these pans sooner. If I had started a collection of these pans, which are fantastic, sooner I would have saved many dollars and still had a wonderful pan collection. Ten quarts is very large but it covers a lot of categories when cooking double batches of spaghetti sauce, chili, stews, pot roast or any recipe that you can start on the stove and finish in the oven. I have owned this pan for a couple of years now and have found it easy to clean and has retained its shine nicely. Beautiful cookware and plan to add pieces/sizes to my collection of All Clad, Viking and several varieties of French cookware.
