This is a nice little Wok. The handle is secure and comfortable but detaches without too much drama if necessary for deep cleaning or seasoning of the pan. This wok is not hammered or pressed, but turned/spun to shape, there are spin marks and ridges on the outside that actually help it grab a little more heat than an otherwise perfectly smooth pan would. The wok took a nice season and blackened up to a nice slick surface. It works great on my camp stove or propane cooker for 1-2 person meals. It is flat bottomed but the flat is not very large, maybe 4". For proper use it needs to be used with actual fire, not a coil or glass top electric stove.

This thing has such a narrow base vs. height and length/weight of handle, that it wants to tip over. Also, it doesn't even cover the smallest electric burner, so heat goes into your kitchen, instead of the wok!

the item was nice but it came without the handle it was shipped with only the pan portion of the product which makes the gift kind of unfinished the worst part is the only way to get the handle is to send the whole thig back which i can't do because the gift has already been opened.
