Pictured item stated cover is tempered glass lid and all handles have soft grip coating, what i got is a different lid, not as pictured, the knob is not soft grip either, and on top of that, it didn't fit. It appeared the screw is a tad long and therefore could not secure the knob, leaving it wobbly, like it's about to come lose. Very disappointed

On top of that, it took seller a little over 2 weeks to get it out of the warehouse (maybe they couldn't find the tempered glass lid and just throw in a lid that fits :-)) Anyhow, it took me close a month to receive the item. I didn't want to be bothered with returning the item ... so i got a new lid from another vender.

First and only time i will do business with this company.

UPDATE: After two month of use, while washing the pot and i noticed some sort of black (charcoal like)residue on the side where you would put the insert steam tray and upon careful inspection of the tray, i found some dark brown spots rust maybe ... I also give the lid that came with the pot a try ... the side of the dome lid has 3 frigging holes to let steam escape, and with that, the water condensation drips into your food ... and to make it worse, the damn screw rusted, so the water that drips down are brownish in color. I regretting buying this steamer, really really do ... the stainless steel ... questionable since steam tray rust, screw rust, i wonder what else ... next please.

This thing is huge. You really need to have some space to store it, it is huge!

Alright, the cons are that it is very light weight, very thin metal. It gets those little spots on the interior bottom that happen with thin metal like this. I got a different lid than that pictured and it only has three tiny holes for venting. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, the screws to secure the knob on the lid weren't the right size. Mine were too short; so if you buy this thing, be prepared to find some different screws. Also, the handles are very cheap.

The pros It is big and it basically gets the job done. One tray held 6 ears of corn for me. The thin bottom means the water heats up rather quickly.

When I purchased this a couple of months back it was priced at $39.99. I thought I'd paid too much, but I'd already waited quite a while to get it and needed a steamer, so I didn't want to bother with the hassle of returning it. Based on the 'quality' of the product, had I seen it in person in a store, I probably wouldn't have paid more than $29.99. Now it is listed for $59.99?
