The pots work fine and large pot make four dozon tamales at a time did not use smaller pots for tamales but they worked well for soups and chicken and dumplings oh also watch water closely while cooking tamales the pots are thin and water cooks out fast have to add water every 30 min are so but other than that cooks nicely

Product arrived very fast. I use it to steam corn on the cob (17 minutes of steam time). I cut off the stem end of the corn at the widest part, and steam the corn with husks and silks still on. When done, use an oven mitt to grasp corn by tops of husks and silks and shake the corn cob free. All silks are automatically removed and the corn has that wonderful cooked-in-the husk flavor.

I ordered these pots with the steamers! Best tamale pots! We made 12 dozen tamales for Christmas Dec 2012, and these pots are very well made not too heavy and steamed to perfection, held up very well...I was impressed for the price! The pots nest inside each other for easy storage. The succulent tamales came out perfect!
