I bought this to make financiers from Rose's Heavenly Cakes. They turned out perfect! They didn't stick at all. Just what I was looking for.

I'm thinking of trying other recipes though...brownies? bar-style chocolate chip cookies? Mmm...

I bake and do alot of chocolate things. And I ordered several of these molds mainly to play with, trying different things, with the molds, and these are a dream to work with. My only complaint is that when ordering them, You might be guessing on the sizes. Or at least I couldn't find the sizing on them. It is probably there some place on the description, but I didn't see it. But the use I had for them Size wasn't a real concern. But after using them one time. I wouldn't own anything other kind of mold......

This is a great product....I made brownie sticks in them and they came out so smoothly, I would recommend silicone for all your baking needs!

My 2-year-old broke all his crayons so we've been melting them into crayon blocks. 350 degrees for about 20 minutes then let set up in a cool place. Flip the molds inside out to peel out the crayon blocks: they're toys (for building towers), they're crayons, they're so much fun. We've used these molds quite a bit to peel out hard crayon blocks and they really hold up! Unfortunately it has taught my boy to keep breaking crayons so he can make more crayon blocks. Luckily most restaurants are more than happy to give him more crayons. Originally I purchased the mold for making chocolate bars and frozen treat bars. The molds clean up really nice so we can still do that when we eventually run out of crayon bits.

It is a perfect tool to prepare french "financier". The size is perfect, the quality of that product is amazing. As a french, I can only advice you to buy this silicone mold.
