I couldn't believe my good fortune when I finally found this dish. It is impossible to find a SQUARE baker with a lid anywhere and Amazon came through (well, Le Creuset, too). My primary use for this wonderful baking dish is making the infamous "No Knead Bread" in it. With its square shape it yields a loaf that is perfect for sandwich slices. It is easy to clean and can also be put in the dishwasher. I am very happy with it there are numerous uses for it!

The first one I ordered arrived broken. The second one cracked in two in a 400 degree oven even though it is guaranteed to take 500 degrees. Need I say more?
