This product "Sproutease" (Sproutease Sprouter Jar Tops ( 1xSET/3PC)), a.k.a. "Sprout-Ease" (Sprout-Ease Econo-Sprouter Toppers Set 3 Piece(s)), is an excellent set of lids. Notice that I said *set*. This is 3 lid set, not just a single lid. Why is having 3 lids important? Because they are lids with different sized holes. Yellow lid: small holes. Green lid: medium holes. Red lid: large holes.
Having different sized holes allows you to drain the seed husks off easily! Here is how I do it:
I like to sprout small seeds, like broccoli, radish, clover, and alfalfa. I start these with the yellow lid (the one with the smallest holes). Once the seeds have started to sprout and have a root of about 3/4 inch, I switch to the red lid (the largest holes). With the red lid on, I put the jar under the faucet and let water rise to the top. As I gently agitate the jar, the husks of the already-sprouted seeds float to the top and exit through the large holes in the red lid. By that point the sprouts are too large to leave through the holes. Doing this for a few minutes on the third or fourth day of growth rinses away about 80% of the husks. Nice.
Of course, if you like the husks for some reason, you can just use the yellow lid through the whole process, and they will stay in there.

I have had 2 sets of these jar tops for over 10 years. The 3 sizes of openings make hull removal very easy. I have never had trouble with mold (like i have had with those multi-tray stacking pieces of junk) because thorough rinsing is easy to do with this sprouting method.
