I purchased this set as a Christmas gift, as my wife has wanted the 'dutch oven' specifically. It was a holiday deal and this set was nearly the same price as the 5.5 qt cast iron pot individually.
The set that arrived does not match the items pictured (and described). You receive five items, but the two skillets are both non-stick. Both of them are nice, one is a more significant build quality. As the items received are different than the description and pictures, I would deduct 1/2 star if possible (no fault of the manufacturer, but more an issue with the item description).
The taller 'stock pot' is actually enameled steel, not cast iron. As such, it is easily damaged. The first time a corner hit our granite counter top (from a few inches) the enamel chipped off both the bottom and inside. After the next (hand) wash, rust was evident. I'm deducting one star for the lack of durability.
My wife was extremely happy with the quality of the cast iron pieces in this set (two of the five) and of the two non-stick skillets. The set was a bargain during the holiday season. If the taller stock pot was of higher quality, I believe the set would be a good value at the 'normal' price.

This cookware set is beautiful and cooks fantastic meals! I have used each piece several times. However, when I recieved my cookware set, a 9.5" Non Stick Stainless Steel Fry Pan was included instead of the 9.5" Stainless Steel Fry Pan as described. I nabbed this item after stalking the deal of the day based on the wording of the preview... I just knew it was going to be Le Creuset! The set did not let me down in the slightest. Yes the items are mixed between the cast iron and non-stick pans, but that is the beauty of the set! I have replaced the old and have been using the new ever since. I have not found one problem with this set and it has had daily use for the last 1.5 month since the purchase. I will say, you will have to use a little handle with the little pot if you let it get to hot. While I LOVE the cast iron pots in this set. The stock pot (asian-made) is very thin and the stainless steel fry pan came to me as a 'non-stick'... didn't want to deal with returning everything so I'll just settle for what it is. boo. I just couldn't pass up the deal for the french oven and sauce pan.
