I bought this set of pans 14 months ago. They were great for about a year, then they lost their non-stick nature. They pans were well cared for. Never used metal utensils, never been in the dishwasher, always gently cleaned. It has been my experience that every non-stick pan I have ever purchased will lose it's non-stick properties within a year. Doesn't seem to matter what the pan costs. The inexpensive ones last about the same as the expensive ones. My recommendation: don't pay a hundred dollars for a non-stick pan. You'll be throwing it away in a year.

These pans were recommended by a chef who praised their endurance. All of my research supported his contention that the coating does not come off if the pans are maintained properly. I have had two AllClad non-stick pans, and neither of them maintained the finish over time although I followed the rules. I love my other AllClad pans, and it's not easy for me to be critical of their product, but they just didn't hold up. These are a good weight and have a comfortable handle. These pans are incredible! I make scrambled eggs, sautéed vegetables... All with no oil or butter, and nothing sticks to the pan. Clean up is incredibly simple, just basically wipe and rinse. Totally worth the money to me! Safe from dangerous chemicals, non-stick and easy wash-up with everything I cook!Even my husband loves cooking with these.
