I have always liked hard anodized cookware. No nonstick coatings to worry about. The pot is very thick and distributes heat evenly. The handles stay cool enough to the touch to pick up the pot without a potholder.

I purchased this as a replacement for another Calphalon saucepan that I burned up. I am very pleased and only wish that I all of my Calphalon pans were this line. Even heating, easy clean up and you can use all of your utensils. Worth the money.

You can't go wrong with Calphalon. It will last you forever as long as you don't use metal utencils in it. My last 2.5 quart sauce pot lasted me 13 years until I used a metal fork in it. After about a year, the scratch began to lift and it was time to replace it. This pot heats so evenly and the handle stays cooler to the touch. The new lid design it much nicer than the old one.

Same as the commercial pot i needed to repalce with improved lid. Fits the double boiler that we had puchased earlier.

This is a nice size pot and the handle on the pot and cover stay cool. That's a big plus!
