The inexpensive price is quickly explained by 1) the thin sheet metal used to make it, and 2) It's small size which renders it pretty useless for boiling and draining pasta for more than one small child.
Mistakenly, I thought it would be like the drain-top pots of some years past that held 5-6 quarts of water and could be used to make pasta for two or more. This one can't.

I had looked locally and within a 50 mile radius for this product but to no avail. I finally found it on line.....however, had to return for a replacement because one of the attached areas was not attached. However, this product can be purchased from maxi aids for a slightly cheaper price.
