trying to find this ring for my model pressure canner, I had to turn to the internet for a replacement. This would not normally be a problem except that this was in the middle of the heaviest part of my canning season. I was afraid that I would be without my canner for more than a week while I waited for the part to come in. However, after I ordered this part through Amazon, I received it in the mail within 4 days. When we're talking about canning fresh produce, a few days can mean the difference between setting aside jars for the winter or consuming it all (if possible) immediately before spoilage occurs. I would highly recommend this seller as their shipping was extremely fast, the item was exactly as it was described, and I was able to get back to canning the produce from our garden in short order.

I have put off getting a new gasket for some time. I received it promptly and I should have done it years ago. I now have a snug fit and don't have to work to get the old seal to fit in the cover. It came with two types of safety plugs so you could use which ever fit your canner. It even had instructions on how to put it in though it is very simple. I received shipment in two days, from Amazon Prime, outstanding service. I replaced both the sealing ring and safety plug on a used canner I bought at the swap meet, for cheap. This restored the canner to perfect working order and I have a nice canner for a total investment of $20.15. The ring stopped the slight steaming from under the lid. I stretched it a little which made the ring fit more tightly.
