I really enjoy using this pan. The sides are non-stick and fit well with the glass bottom. I don't need to transfer my baked good to another plate for serving you can cut on the glass without damaging it (okay it is glass so you have to use common sense...). I've gone through a number of cheaper springform pans. They've all gone to the trash.

spring foam mechanism is great and doesn't scratch itself (i'v bought another brand that had the spring foam mechanism scratching the side of the ring, i returned that one)

This pan is well made and I like the glass bottom

though I don't see any benefit to it.

I'd have spent my money on a pan that doesn't leak.
