I put my rice into the rice cooker and my veggies into the steamer basket. While they are cooking I made chicken with a nice sauce to go with the rice. Healthy dinner in about twenty five minutes without heating the house up on a steamy summer night. Added bonus easy cleanup. I love it!

The steamer does fit and I'm sure it will do the job, but basket is MUCH thinner than the Aroma Simply Stainless rice cooker pot. Both are made of "surgical grade 304 stainless steel," and by the same manufacturer, so I naturally figured the steel was of the same thickness. Sadly, I was mistaken. I was hoping for a higher quality product.

The steamer is great. Should be sold along with the rice cooker. But I understand if someone does not need it, they do not have to pay extra.

Perfect fit into my Aroma Aroma ARC-757SG 14-Cup rice cooker. I actually use the unit more for steaming veggies than for making rice. (I think I even saved $$ by buying them seperatly :)

The fit is snug and the quality of the stainless steel is super. Love it. Way better than some plastic steam tray.
