The shape of this pan with it's wide, flat bottom and deep sidesmake it ideal for stir-frying (more stable than a wok), Southern
type fried chicken (splatters stay inside the pan) and a variety
of stews and soups. My only complaint is that Circulon does not
make a lid to fit this pan, and it's not easy to find a lid that will
fit like it should in order to allow steam to escape without sealing the
lid to the point of being dangerous.
