I shut one of them in the drawer this morning, and it didn't damage it or warp it out of shape at all, so they're pretty sturdy.

I tried every kitchen and discount store in the city and couldn't find these. I bake gluten free and needed something to make rolls that could be used as hamburger buns or with poached eggs, etc. I was thrilled to find these on Amazon. They work great for baking rolls with a thicker batter (a thin batter will run out the edges). Also, be sure to spray with vegetable spray because they are not non-stick. I ordered two boxes and then ordered them again a few months later so I could bake larger batches. Love 'em!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Norpro 3775 Muffin Rings, Set of 4
I must say that after some of the reviews that I read here on Amazon I was highly reluctant to order these rings. But after looking at the other similar products here, and the reviews that people gave those, as well, I figured what the heck. I ordered one set of these rings (I ultimately want three sets) for $5.49 and free shipping with Amazon Prime. They were delivered ahead of schedule and came in a very sturdy box which I plan to keep for storage purposes.I bought these to specifically make baked english muffins using the recipe on King Arthur Flour's website. I made them for the first time today and the turned out exceptionally well. I sprayed the rings liberally on the inside of the ring with cooking spray and nothing stuck to them. The rings themselves feel sturdy, not nearly as cheap as some people described. I mean, really, how strong does the thing need to be? You are making an english muffin with it. Its not cast iron, but its not meant to be either. I handwashed the rings after use with soap and water and immediately towel dried them to ward off any impending rust (other reviewers complained about this also). I will check them again over the next couple of days to make sure that no rust has developed.
All in all, I am very pleased thus far with these english muffin rings. I do plan to purchase two more sets since the most annoying thing about them is they only come in sets of four.
