I have had one of these for many years and love it. Since my daughter borrowed it so often and it wasn't in my house when I needed it, I decided to buy her a present:) I love the large flat surface that helps food cook evenly in a shorter time period. I can also remove the knob and put it in the oven.

I've raved about every size Imusa Caldero, as I have them from the tiniest to the largest.When making a paella for a large party, this can't be beat whether stove-top, in the oven, or outdoors on the grill.
NOTHING makes guests go "wow" more than a huge pot stuffed with amazing savories from land and sea, and this is the pot to use for just such a presentation.
I hope it will suffice to say that living in a studio apartment in Midtown Manhattan, I still find this pot so essential for every application that I have not one, but TWO of them, and always within reach.

This is an excellent pot for cooking food from the stove to the oven. I often cook Charleston Red Rice and it is perfect for mixing the rice and cooking on stovetop then moving it to the oven. This is way too big for home cooking. More appropriate for restaurants. I can't fit this on our standard electric stove. One cannot have any other cooking pots on the stove either. The size is just too big. But the pot is good. So I am returning it to get a much smaller one.
