I was really disappointed that the claw cracker was so small and wimpy. I eat BIG lobsters and I needed a BIG claw cracker.This is not a "heavy duty" claw cracker and should not be advertised as such.

I bought this tool just for cracking lobster shells open. It has served this purpose well. However it also works well as a wrench to open the lid on a pickle jar or other hard to open lids.
