This is not my first Le Creuset pot (by a large margin), but it is my first in the new Signature series. Of course it is beautiful, durable, well made, and all that. But the most important thing is how wonderfully these French pots work. I have made the same dishes in stainless steel and other materials, and they are just not at all the same as when I use Le Creuset enamelled cast iron.
The very slightly different look is lovely and the new knobs are much nicer, so kudos for that LC.
This 9qt is a great size. I didn't have anything between my 6.75qt and my 13.25qt so I just had to bite the bullet and get this one. No more using stainless steel stock pots (not that there is anything wrong with stainless steel for boiling potatoes or pasta) when I need an 8-9qt size for braising or oven-simmering!
I think that Le Creuset pots are the best out there and their warranty can't be beat.

My wife loves this thing the food is absolutely amazing. Cooks even and fast, and has non-stick properties. Clean-up is a breeze. Looks great too.Best Deals for Le Creuset Signature Enameled Cast-Iron 9-Quart Round French Oven
This cookware is expensive but it will outlast you and your grandchildren. Porcelain coated cast iron gives you the best of both worlds. It's practically non-stick and heats very evenly while using less energy. You won't be disappointed. :-)
