Have baked beans in it twice so far, and has worked very well. Also it cleaned up good. We like it because of its wider opening compared to other bean pots.

The 1st one I received was broken, no big deal, Amazon has an Awesome return policy. The one I have now I really like, it's a great size, the color is beautiful and everything we've made in it has turned out great, oh and the clean up is a breeze. The one thing that really upset me is I was looking for something made in the USA and I thought because it said Denby USA that was what I was getting. Much to my surprise when I flipped the pot over it said "made in China." I guess I should have researched more. If u don't mind where it comes from it is a great all around pot.
