I previously got pretty excited about a smaller piece of ceramic cookware from another maker and gave it a 5 star review after using it only a few times. If I had waited a bit, I would have downgraded it to 4 stars because it did show some signs of wear after a relatively short period of use, although the flaws in the finish did not have any discernible effect on the functionality of the pan. In any case, I decided to wait before reviewing this Vinaroz product and I'm very happy to report that after intensive use it still looks brand new and there are no blemishes of any kind in the finish, contrary to the experience of another reviewer who only gave it 4 stars. [I use a relatively soft bamboo spatula to stir the food with.] And while on the subject of other reviewers, I am in agreement with the reviewer who wrote that there was no need to season the pan as opposed to the reviewer who said that one must always season ceramic cookware. I did not season my wok and it works perfectly, almost magically. I'm very enthusiastic about this pan and will be giving them for Christmas presents. The low price and superb functionality is a great combination.

I got this pretty quickly after I ordered it, and it works great. It's simple to clean, great for frying, and is all-around amazing. At least, the first few times I used it.

However, the particular wok I received had several flaws in the ceramic on the bottom. After I burnt some rice in the bottom, I noticed it had settled into some cracks and grooves and stained the bottom. There were also several flaws in the chrome finish when I received it. It's still beautiful and functional, but I worry about how well it will hold up in the future with these little mistakes. Had it arrived in perfect condition, I'd be far less wary.

As it's ceramic, you shouldn't use any metal utensils in it to avoid scratching the finish. I've been using bamboo exclusively since I received it.

I own a restaurant so I have experience with many types of cookware. I got this because I needed a new wok for personal use, and the ceramic coating was interesting. The cheap price made me pause but I got it anyway. Fast delivery. I've used it for three, four months on average twice a week or less. What I do like: The non-stick surface is pretty good, not as good as professional Teflon, but OK. Cheap. Heats up fast. Nice grippy handle. Works like a wok.

What I don't like. The white cooking surface. Everything shows. Makes it look unsanitary. Definitely have to use cooking oil, esp if eggs are involved. Every little brown, black, yellow bit shows up. Worst of all, the coating is not durable. I don't wash mine promptly after each use so it may sit on the counter, or in the sink for a while, but I never pile dishes in it, and have only used plastic to stir. STILL mine has many many scratches and a few dings. The white surface is discoloring too. All this after not much use.

Summary: I like it, BUT the lack of durability is a deal breaker and I would not recommend this brand. I think I will try a more expensive ceramic coated wok.

This is an easy to clean wok, good size to cook for a dinner party or every day meals. The ceramic coating does scratch and burn though, so it is not as durable as I would have hoped!

So far so good.

We love this pot but were a bit surprised by the size when we unpacked it. If you read the description it states it's 18" and this is just baffling. With the handle it's about 20". Without it's about 12". That makes for a pretty small wok so don't plan on cooking for 6 or maybe even 4 in this pan.

Despite the small size it's really nice. The aluminum construction makes it feather light and the ceramic coating is really great. Nothing sticks. We don't cook with oil if we can help it, maybe use a shot of Pam and this wok is excellent for that kind of cooking.

Highly recommended. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is we've only owned it 2 days and can't speak for its durability yet.
