I love this pan! I have been wanting it for so long and even added it to my Wish List. I ended up buying it at Home Goods a few weeks ago for a little less than it's being offered here. I was thrilled. I had to buy it. And I'm so glad I did!
First off, I used a little butter to be able to release the cakes once baked. I used room temperature butter & a basting brush to lightly butter or grease the pan. I found this helped release the cakes once done.
The cake cups don't need to be overly filled. A little less than half filled worked best for me. I used a lemon cake for one group, then pound cake for the next. Both worked well.
Everyone loved the little cakes! I served them with a little confectioner's sugar and they were a big hit.
Definitely glad I bought this pan as clean up was a breeze. I let the pan soak in warm soapy water, then rinsed it clean. All the little nooks and crannies were easily cleaned of any cake residue.
I love Nordic Ware. They always make a strong sturdy baking pan in lots of fun shapes. Proudly made in the USA!!! Great pan to invest in as this is one to be held onto for quite some time.

I love these! Made cornbread, poppyseed cake, and red velvet in these recently. Great shapes! My tip? DON'T FLOUR THE PAN! I used butter or shortening only so you don't get flour "mold" on the designs. The first time I tried flouring the pan the design was less pretty and I had to frost it to cover the floured edges. This is a great, high quality, and heavy duty cupcake pan. The flower cupcakes are just too cute and the Amazon price is much better than what is offered at other sites. My daughter absolutely loves this pan. It is wonderful for birthday presentations of cupcakes. Cupcakes are just beautiful, does not need icing unless you just have to have it. Just Wonderful!
