Very happy with this purchase! This is the best square griddle pan that I've owned. Cooks evenly, washes up beautifully in the dishwasher, and has a very nice weight to it. Heavy enough to keep it flat on the stove, but not too heavy like a cast iron. Does french toast and grilled sandwiches perfectly, no need to keep doing quarter and half turns to make sure your bread is browning evenly, flip it once and perfect. I would highly recommend this product!

I was proud of my new purchase. I cooked eggs on low and cleanup was just rinsing it off under the faucet. However, I noticed that the eggs wanted to run to the sides. I even went to the trouble of rebalancing my Jenn-air stove. I finally put a straight edge on it and determined that there is a high spot in the dead center of the griddle. You could easily state that I probably did not read the instructions and used excessive heat or plunged it into cold water while it was scorching hot. But, you would be wrong. I handled it with kid gloves. I believe the problem is in the layered construction. Different metals expanding at different rates causing the pan to develop a hump in the center. It's too late to return the item so I'm stuck with a thirty dollar griddle that allows everything to run to the edges. On a brighter note, grease runs away from the bacon. I'm glad that I just bought one of these anodized pans and went with the stainless steel 10 Piece Cookware Set by Cuisinart.

I am very pleased with the quality (heft), value and performance of this Cuisinart griddle. I use no cooking spray and eggs, for example, remain totally stick free. The 11 inch size is adequate for a 2 3 person breakfast, but larger families might want a larger surface. Cuisinart, in their product literature stands by the dishwasher safe claim, however they hedge this by noting that dishwasher soaps with lemon should be avoided. This doesn't seem very practical as typically these dishwasher soaps are scented, and I think most folks perfer this. The issue is not enough to knock off a "star" on rating as the griddle never has food stuck to it, and it is thus easy to just quickly wipe down and store away.
