I have had this for two years now, its been fine, on electric and gas burners

I like it because the handle can be tightened with a screwdriver, unlike so many things you buy these days.

Still, not sure why the price went up so much in two years. Its more than double what I paid

good quality stainless steel, cooks evenly, and clean up is easy. lids from regalware I purchased several years ago fit. doesn't say, but I think may be manufactured in US as my original set was. excellent for mashed potatoes. love it.
