The spatula is the perfect size for brownies and such, and we purchased for use with nonstick cookware (a 9x13 pan in particular). We used it often, but unfortunately the plastic just snapped after we'd had it for only a few months. So great design, but disappointed in the quality. OXO usually has great stuff.

The spatula is nicely designed for comfort, but is a poor choice of material as it is made of hard plastic. It snapped in half the second time I used it.

I was ecstatic to own a spatula that was the perfect shape and size for removing brownies from the pan. However, the plastic broke with only a few uses (and it is not like too much force was applied). I hope OXO reads these reviews and improves this item. Such a disappointment.

Nice Spatula for using with non-stick bakeware. Just don't apply too much pressure when using, I think if you did it would snap & break the handle off.

If you read closely, you'll see it's not a metal spatula. That takes some getting used to, and I feel like it's breakable because it's plastic, though that's probably not true. Spatula is thick, so doesn't make a clean, barely perceptible cut, but an 1/8" or thicker separation in the brownies. Though it's much narrower, the 'serving spatula' might be better for brownies. I plan on trying that.
