I took a chance on this item, hoping it would work with my Anolon cookware... it does! The various graduated rings fit both my 4QT stockpot (approx 8" diam) and my 3QT saucepan (approx 7" diam). As an added bonus, the glass lid from my 4QT pot fit the steamer. Great for steaming jumbo artichokes and just about anything else. Can now throw away that cheap folding basket steamer that always tipped over and dumped the food into the water.

I bought this steamer in hopes that it would fit my 9" pot. It fits as if it came with the pot. It also gave me a lid for this pot which was lost in one of the different location moves. The two handles make it easy to tip the vegtables on to the plates. I also do not get burned from steam as I did with the insert I was using before. Recommend

I make lots of veggies at dinner and needed a steamer that holds a lot. I use this every night and find it wonderful since it holds so much. It can be used inside any pan. I love that it it stainless steel, as well.
