I recently had the opportunity to use this on a camping trip over Thanksgiving weekend. The shipping was timely, and the tripod worked as expected. The Tripod and chain was sturdy and held the weight of my 12 quart dutch oven and its contents.

The tripod is made of durable steel and is a perfect height for using my dutch oven over a campfire. The chain is adjustable to hang various types of pots. I bought it to take on our next camping trip.

Looked at many other tripods but a lot of them were of questionable quality. These are truly cast iron and will last you a life time as long as you take care of them. The storage bag is a huge plus so that you can store it nicely without losing the chain.

Received item completely different than described. Much cheaper item. Should be 45" tall cast iron but instead was 18" tall stainless steel shock corded poles such as a tent would use. http://www.stansport.com/index.php/outdoor/stoves-and-grills/15997-77.html

Item had barcode label stuck over correct bar code with "cast iron" typed on it. Hopefully really stupid human error but had an air of deception to it.

Amazon has promised to resolve, customer service very helpful. I will add to this once/if I get correct item.
