CI highly recommended these tongs, so I knew they would be quality. I love the pull-lock at the end, and the nylon is great for my non-stick pots and pans. However, the image is very misleading. Upon delivery, I was very surprised to see that instead of red tips, all the nylon pieces were red (the pull-lock, sidings, and tips). Not a deal breaker for me, but I was disappointed. Still very happy with their quality; would highly recommend.

I love these tongs! They are light-weight but still have a sturdy construction. I got them in blue and they look even better than in the picture. The blue nylon tips are very well integrated onto the tongs-no worries of the tips flying off! Also the tongs have a great ergonomic design with well-placed hand grips on each side of the tongs. Very pleased with my purchase!

The only thing I've noticed, I specifically bought the nylon tip tongs so I could use them on non-stick pans. The tips are still quite hard and while it won't scratch your pan like metal tongs would, it's not 100% safe like a silicon tip would be. Depending on what you're doing, you could definitely still gouge a non-stick pan with these tongs. I just pay a little more attention when using any non-stick pans because these tongs are excellent otherwise.

This was a Christmas gift from my daughter's wish list. It is a sturdy pair of tongs with a nice lock for putting in a drawer. She was pleased with it and, as a gift, it was a hit!

These 12 inch OXO tongs are great! They are one of the most useful utensils needed in the kitchen at least my little kitchen. I have always liked Good Grips' OXO products. They are made well however I'm sure they are not made in America any more. I like the tips with the splash of lime/kiwi green. The push pull lock is very nice too.

I purchased these tongs when I bought my enamel dutch oven didn't want to risk any scratches/chips on that monster. Like everything else OXO I have purchased, these are excellent quality. They feel sturdy, the lock release is stable, and the nylon tips are firm enough to do anything without the worry of scratching up my enamel and non-stick. The 12 inch size is great not so big that you can't handle little tasks and not so small that you pinch/drop/deform bigger items.

I use these tongs every single morning they have become a second set of fingers for me. Highly recommended all the way!
