I love the looks. Matches our decor well. The color is spot on, as depicted in the pic. The size and shape are great for our range top (a bit on the smaller size), but in retrospect . . . I wish it was a little taller and held more water. Otherwise, same great quality one might expect from Le Creuset, with a nice touch of style in a functional kettle.

I was so excited to receive this kettle, as I am a college student and had been saving up to purchase this one specifically. I followed all the instructions for "first use" but when I went to pour the water, it sputtered out of the spout and then leaked all over the counter. This is not great when dealing with scalding water obviously. The Kettle was very pretty, but I returned it because I was tired of wiping the counter down every time I wanted tea (I drink it a lot). Also the handle felt poorly made; you could actually feel the roughness where it was stamped out. I would pass on this one...spend a little more to get true quality, or find a perfectly suitable one anywhere for much less.
