I purchased this sealing ring for my parents who have owned he same WMF pressure cooker for over 30 years. They had not changed the ring on it for almost 5 years and were still using the cooker on a weekly basis. They were going to wait til their next trip to Germany to get a replacement ring because they thought that's the only place they could get one. I decided to take a chance and do a Amazon search for it since they really needed a new ring because the pressure cooker was starting to leak. I was amazed that they had it but was a little skeptical that it would fit their pressure cooker since it was sooo old. I decided to purchase it anyways since it was only $10. Shipping was quick and it fit the cooker perfectly. Thank you amazon for saving my parents a trip to Germany and now they can change the ring more often.

Excellent replacement that is almost impossible to find. WMF pressure cooker was originally purchased in Germany over 20 years ago. Seal ring fits perfectly and now it's back in use. This was the exact sealing ring (part number:) Ersatzteil-Nr. 60 6855 9997 & 60 6855 9990 , which fits all 22cm diameter pots. This is our second replacement seal for our circa 1985 pot. They only last about 10 years on a gas stove. Burner size selection is key. If you burner is too big for the pot the flames will slowly roast your new seal, shortening it's life. It's great that you can still get a replacement for a such an excellent pressure pot. Thank you Amazon and WMF!
