These copper bottom stainless steel pans are probably the best cooking pans we've ever purchased. We have a premium glass top stove and the flat copper bottoms on these pans transfer the heat so efficiently that we've cut our time at the stove considerably. It distibutes the heat evenly, is easy to clean, the extra handle is a real boon, the transparent cover is great. I love Paula Deen cookware. The heavy copper bottom distributes the heat evenly. The skillets heat up fast and cooking time is reduced. Bacon cooks really fast and is golden and crispy, just like I like it. We purchased a 12" skillet at Sears and after using it we ordered the 10 inch and 8.5 inch skillets from Amazon. Cooking is fun again!!! I will continue to build my inventory of cookware with Paula Deen Products.
