At last a shaker with holes big enough to use for dried chili. This is a beautiful heavy shaker with big holes. I'd still like slightly larger holes, but this is the best I've found.

I like pepper and use the coarse restaurant pepper in this dredge. It will pour a lot, but for cooking, I don't have to shake, shake, shake. One shake and I'm done. The cover and the fact that it doesn't have a handle are a bonus.

I use this shaker for grated cheese. The holes are big enough for the cheese to go through with ease, and the plastic cover keeps the cheese fresh and dry when stored in the refrigerator. The plastic cover is a HUGE plus. Highly recommend.
