It's easy to create a sensation with infomercials and get good reviews based on the first impression. I was almost set to buy this item but then I noticed all these excellent reviews occurred in the recent months of 2013 while a cookware of this grade should have a long enough history of excellence to prove it. Also I read somewhere in Amazon that StoneDine actually shipped products made by StoneLine. I don't know exactly how StoneDine is related to StoneLine, but StoneLine shipped some products, e.g. http://www.amazon.com/Stoneline-Eco-friendly-Coated-Non-stick-Frying/dp/B005GXPJZW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1383581822&sr=8-1&keywords=stoneline, which failed to live up to its claim of lasting non-stick coating and about which people have experienced bad customer service. Is StoneDine actually formerly StoneLine and an effort to make people forget its subprime history and start over with a fresh start?

All of the Stonedine cookware we have is impressive. Have had the others almost a year now and they continue to perform flawlessly and as advertised. The real truth will be when we get into years 4 and 5. Looking forward to many more years of good service from these pieces.
