I've used this many times and have absolutely no complaints about it. Works great and comes with a little recipe book so you can make lots of flavors. I'm a fan!

I use it every other day nearly. you have to get used to the combination of ingredients to make the yogurt you liie, but once you get it the consistency is good. Nothing to it. Heat the milk, cool,add starter, pour into maker, make!
It takes 12 hours so put it in a place where it wont' be disturbed.

I've used this appliance five times. The first time I tried it with skim milk, and after 13 hours it was still one-half liquid. Since then I've only used 2% milk, but it still requires at least 12 hours to become close to firm. My old Salton yogurt maker took far less time and yielded a firmer product.

When I check the temprature of the yogurt when it is done, it is too hot for the "good" bacteria to live. The temprature should not exceed 113-114 degrees F and this maker warms the yogurt to over 122 degrees F! Therefore what I thought was healthy yogurt is not as healthy as I thought because all the bacteria is dead! Guess I need a machine I can set my own temprature.

Used to make my own yogurt when kids were little with a Salton yogurt maker. The kids are now on their late 30's and 40's. Its easy, tasty, and cheap. I highly recommend.
