Review of Corning Vision Visions 4.5 L Round Dutch Oven with Lid

I mainly bought a Visions pan because it could be cleaned better than metal, and because I thought it would be cool to be able to see what was happening inside the pan without taking off the lid. I didn't think it would conduct heat as well as a metal pan, but I was surprised to find that water boiled in my Visions pan as fast as in a metal pan, and maybe even faster. Since I have a degree in physics, I was very curious about why the glass pan worked so well. My best guess is that the energy from a gas flame is mainly in the form of radiant heat, which probably radiates right through the glass and heats the water directly. In any case, I really like my glass cookware.

Im most pleased with this wonderful dish. I make jams and in it .Its easy to grip and lift. takes the mirowave stovetop or conventional oven, no trouble. Very excellent item!

I love my glass pot. I can taste the metal pans and nonstick. The glass has clean taste to boil my water for tea, but there is no pour spout. I'm gonna get the one liter size with the pour spout.

Actually my review is not about the product but the customer service of the seller. When the package arrived I found that the post office broke the it into pieces during shipping. I contacted the seller that evening and got a rely the next day with apologies and informing me that they've refunded me. If in the future the seller has other products I need I will definitely buy from them again.
