I lost a 4" depth pot in a fire and needed to replace it. This was a fine replacement for the money. It is sturdy and I like the see through top, it is just heavier than I would have liked.

Perfect for stews, roasts, etc.

Comes to a boil very quickly and holds heat very well. I usually bring things to a boil and then slow cook the rest of the way. I'm back to get a 2nd....one is good but 2 is better....Try it!

I recently began switching over my old non-stick cookware for stainless. I find the Calphalon products to be of good quality without being too expensive. This pot has riveted handles that feel solid, nice overall weight and a glass lid so you can see what's happening inside without lifting the lid. I have used it several times so far and it performs as expected.

I have a larger pan like this one and I love it. It cooks evenly and washes up nice so was glad to see the 5 quart on Amazon. These pans hold up well and are worth the money.

I love my Dutch Oven. Nothing to complain about at all. Nice looking and a nice sturdy weight. Would buy it again.
