I got this set as part of a rewards program so they were free. Can't complain about that. I had read the mixed reviews on the brand and was somewhat skeptical. I like to see and feel a piece of cookware before buying them. I'm fussy about my cookware but don't buy the high end stuff but I do like good quality. I'm a southern cook and have been cooking for over 35 years. This set is a really nice set. The nonstick is really that....nonstick. I've had no problems with the handles as reported in some of the reviews. A little common sense goes a long way in taking care of anything. They are not heavy but the bottom is thick enough to give good heat distribution and the little stainless ring around the bottom helps with that also. I can recommend this set as a good mid priced set. Using plastic utensils will help preserve the finish as with any of the nonstick pans.

I bought the 8 piece set along with an 11 inch fry pan and less than 6 months later, the teflon is already bubbling up and coming off 3 pieces and the handle on one fry pan has come off and 2 others are loose. I always handwash, never put them in the dishwasher. I season them like it says too and I never use any metal utensils. I bought a cheap non-stick fry pan from Walmart about 10-15yrs ago and it lasted much longer and was much sturdier than these....I should have just gone back and got another one of those & saved my money and a lot of frustration.

I bought an 9.5 inch ecolution artistry pan about 1 year ago. I never use any abbrasive material, always use wooden spoon and always handwash it. After a year of using it, it finally has scratches which I have no idea how it happenned. I tried to contact the manufacturer but never get any reply. The "lifetime guarantee" is not applied because I can't get a hold of the manufacturer.

My sister bought this non-stick cookware and she told me it was eco-friendly and did not have the harmful chemicals like so many of the other non-stick cookware have. When I moved out, I bought the same cookware and I have never been happier. I recommend purchasing a wooden spoon so you don't scratch the surface.

I first discovered the Ecolution Artistry pans in my local grocery store. At that time, I was in need of a griddle pan, so I decided to purchase their Ecolution Artistry 11" Griddle. I was attracted to the eco-friendly non-stick coating on these pans--they use a water-based, Hydrolon non-stick coating rather than traditional Teflon/PFOAs--and I admit, I also loved the cute green flower pattern on the bottom! I wound up loving the griddle, so I was interested in purchasing other pans from the Ecolution Artistry line.

I have found the Ecolution Artistry Cookware Set to be excellent as well. First, it arrived to me from Amazon extremely well-packaged (please see the photo I added to the item listing above). Second, the performance of these pans is AMAZING--I have NEVER seen a non-stick pan do its job so well! Foods just slide around, with very little oil/other coating needed. (NOTE: As per the instructions, I did "season" this set with a very light coat of cooking oil prior to first use.) Although all of the Artistry pots are dishwasher-safe, I prefer to hand-wash (to preserve the outer finish as well as the overall life of the pans). I could practically just rinse the pans or wipe them out with a paper towel, they are THAT non-stick.

I think that this 8-piece set is excellent, but I wanted to mention that I have purchased a few additional pieces. In addition to the Griddle mentioned above (which was purchased about 6 months ago and has performed flawlessly), I also recently purchased the Ecolution Artistry Chicken Fryer and the Ecolution Artistry 2-Quart Saucepan. I should also note that the two frying pans which are included in this set do NOT come with lids; this wasn't an issue for me, although it may be for others.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this set! I highly recommend the Ecolution Artistry series, both for their excellent non-stick performance as well as for their eco advantage.
