These are OK. My problem was I used our biggest skillet to do 2 hamburgers with cheese and I couldn't get both of them in the pan. That is not the fault of the covers. However, since I don't want to buy another skillet, I elected to take them out to the grill. I think they will work on the grill to create steam to melt the cheese. I would buy again. All I need to do is buy a bigger skillet.
