I first want to say that this is a great pot. It is the right size and cooks beans very well. The only thing that I can say con to the pot is that it is too light. Think of this,,,you have a pot full of beans cooking on the stove and you decide to stir your beans. The pot will move with the stirrer and wants to come off the stove. I wrote this review for cooks that have not used Granite ware pots before and have not cooked much with pots. I would not want anyone to have a very not pot of beans or soups come off on them with a pot that can slide on them so easy.

Great for cooking soups and stews on an induction cooktop. Easy to take care of. Better for beans or bean soup than a slow cooker.

I looked all over for this pot because I had one that was wearing out after several years use.

I have a hard time lifting heavy stainless steel pot, making this just right even if it is full to the top.

Just received and not yet used. Purchased for baking in my new solar oven, and wasn't expecting any surprises with this pot. Happy to buy American made but disappointed that the pot lid's lip isn't smoothly machined; instead its sharply cut edges are exposed much to the peril of unsuspecting fingers. I should return it, but will probably just file down the sharp edges instead. Unfortunately I also bought this same brand of bread pan and the lip's edges have the same problem. Won't be buying this brand again.

I REMEMBER GROWING UP WITH MY MOTHER USING YOUR PRODUCT. I STILL HAVE A FEW LEFT FROM HER. I LKKE THE FACT THAT THEY ARE LIGHT IN WEIGHT THAT;S IMPORTANT WHEN YOU ARE OLDER, THE HANDS ARN;T WHAT THEY USED TO BE.THE FOOD COOKS FASTER IN THEM, PLUS THE CLEANING OF THEM IS GREAT.
