i agree its too expensive, but when ur in a land where u can only rely on amaazon for such prods, u have no other option... but i should say tht the weight exctly fit my cooker n it works just fine... i am glad i found it here...

Best Deals for Prestige Whistle 2 Pressure Regulator Weight Whistle for Range

I lost the original whistle for the my Prestige cooker in a move. After looking around, I decided to go ahead and buy this one although it seemed a little costly. The good news is that it fits and works fine, allowing me to use to my pressure cooker. The bad news is that it goes off very quickly, meaning that I have to count twice (if not more) as many whistles compared to the old one. Not a biggie, just a bit of an adjustment.

I would recommend this product.
