This is the new style safety valve. It is wider then the more cylidrical grey ones from the 1990's. It still fits in the older lids and works great. The only problem is that it does not fit under the plastic cover listing various recepie preassure and cook times.

I fixed the valve, only I readed the instructions, put the valve and works great, excuse me por the first review, but I undertood.
