The main reason I'm writing this is to let others know these lids will also fit the Anolon Nouvelle Copper Hard Anodized 10 and 12 inch pans. On those pans, these lids are a decent fit, but obviously not made specifically for those pans. Still, they stay on, and work well, they just aren't a tight seal. They are attractive and match the pan's look well, if that matters. I wish I could find one for the 8 inch pan too.

These glass lids are good and fit quite well. Even they have metal edge, one has to be gentle handling them for the glass is bit thin. The handle is bit excessive, therefore harder to store. I use the 10 inch more often. I have two different 10 inch pans that are old. One has rounded edge at the top and measures 9 1/4 inch in diameter, the other is straight and measures 10 inches. This 10 inch glass cover fits the the 9 1/4 inch diameter pan perfectly; it falls in a bit in the other.

I recently dropped the lid to our wonderful Analon pot and was extremely upset. A quick search on Amazon and ta-da a perfect fit and reasonable prices as well. It also arriving in plenty of time for Thanksgiving.

Only 2 weeks after the purchase of these lids, the 10-inch one shuttered into millions of microscopic pieces, while covering an Anolon Advanced fry pan, on medium heat. The pieces flew in the radius of 10 feet, and this could certainly injure people. There was certainly neither a sudden change of temperature, nor a contact with any other object. After some research online, I found that there were many people reporting the same issue with Anolon lids.

Lids fit, have a good grip, and seem sturdy enough to last as long as the pans they will be used on. It was a difficult task to find lids that precisely fit my current collection of pans, which are not Analon. The angled edge lid design is excellent in that it should not scratch or chip the finish on the rim of the pans. The grip provides great clearance for the fingers more than any other lid I have seen, and the silicon material on the handle provides great insulation. Also appreciate the see-through glass better than the original stainless steel lids that came with the set.
