This product is great but a word of caution; at temperatures over 400 degrees the nonstick starts to flake off, which can be dangerous if ingested. I contacted Norpro, whose response was that it was safe up to 428 degrees, however, mine did not perform well at 400 degrees. The manufacturer needs to put the maximum safe temperature information on the package and maybe test further.

The paint got off right after first use and the rack got rusted after wash.This product should be recalled for review, otherwise, may be poisoned when paint got off and stuck on the serving food.

We have used a glossy metal version of this rack since we were married 30+ years ago and it gave up the ghost at Thanksgiving 2008, and we could not find anything that would duplicate this rack. Finally I resorted to the internet and found the identical rack in a non-stick finish. Our Thanksgiving was great, the turkey was great... Thanks Amazon for being there and for saving Thanksgiving.
