Received a 14-piece Bialetti set as a gift and absolutely love how they function as to non-stick, E-Z cleaning and lower heat settings [saves $$, right?]. The warning about the metal piece in the lid-knob is well noted...remember to grab a pot-holder, OK? I've cooked gooey-sooey stuff with nary a stuck-on bit, and have cooked veggies & rice in quicktime due to the high conductivity of the base metals. Would recommend for serious cooks. They also look great on open shelves in my kitchen..no more hiding the raggedy orphans in the dark like my old 'uns.

I had needed to replace my pots and pans for sometime. I found this set and decided this could be the one to replace my mishmash of pots that were scratched or the ones I had broken the lids to.

The interior surface makes them easy to clean, although not silicone smooth, food doesn't seem to stick to them.

The sizes offered give you a good selection on what pot to use for each dish, including the small pour spouts from the littlest saucepan.

Yes, there is some metal on the lid, but having had glass lids with all metal handles, I find these much easier to use, and if I have to use a potholder, at least there is something good to grab onto.

They are not flimsy, and distribute the heat well. I boiled water for a soup I was making and it boiled much quicker than my old set.

For the price, this set is worthy of consideration.

I previously owned these pots and loved them, in buying them the second time, although they are still very nice, they are not the same quality as the previous set. These are much lighter in weight.

These pots and pans work well as far as cooking is concerned, but there is a metal piece in the tops on the pots. That metal piece gets very hot to the extent that they will burn fingers. We have to use potholders when we remove the tops after cooking. I really think the sets should be recalled for liability purposes!

I purchased a similar set of cookware from this company. I had the cookware for approximately 18 months and the pots started to get warped. They warped so bad that the lids no longer fit. I attempted to contact the company through phone and e-mail. This took about 6 weeks of nagging on my part. The final outcome was that I used too much heat for cooking and that nullified my warranty.
