My wife complained that the knob on her Kirkland pot was too hot to the touch (all metal) so, having seen this one for sale in several stores I was quick to order it. It fits and works perfectly which is why I gave it five stars. I do wonder, though, why it is so expensive! Perfect as a replacement. We dropped the lid of one of our French ovens and the top handle actually broke. This worked perfectly.
