I've been dreaming of getting this for years finally got it and my kitchen is a much happier place.

The wood construction is sturdy. The backsplash is perfect. It's a great size for making bread or pizzas. After using it I season it with oil and put it away. I wish I had a kitchen big enough where it could out all the time, it's so pretty to look at. the little round wood covers over the screws popped when I hit it against the shelf while taking it out of storage but it's not anything wood glue can't solve.

If you bake bread get this you will not regret it.

At 22 x 28 this was one of the few boards large enough for rolling and cutting out homemade laminated dough for danish and croussaints. The lips keep the board from sliding off the counter and flour from being pushed off the far edge.

This is the second one I ordered. One for me and one for my daughter. I had one a few years ago and left it in the house I moved from. Could not do without it.

I have just moved into a house with a tiled counter in the kitchen. I bought this board so that I can make bread and baked goods without getting the counters all mucked up. It is wonderful. It is large and this is wonderful for kneading bread and rolling out dough to cut cookies. The only thing I needed to do to get started was to SEASON THE BOARD BEFORE USING. I needed to season my board with Howard BBB012 Cutting Board Oil, 12-Ounce three times before the board was ready for use, but this step was worth it. I really love this board. It is both beautiful and functional.

Make sure you follow the directions and treat the wood before using.

I have a family that doesn't always pay attention, soooo... I got out my woodburning kit and wrote 'KNEADY THINGS' on the side used for dough. pastry, pasta, and 'MY SLICE OF LIFE' on the side that I keep face up [just in case they aren't paying attention].

It is easy to clean and maintain.
