I adore this pan. It is spacious enough for me to cook double batches and freeze half. If you fry, the walls are high, which causes less (if any) splatter. You can saute, fry, even boil noodles in this puppy. This is my go to pan, I have bought two in the past 6 years. I have only made a second purchase due to my ex putting the first one in the dishwasher, which discolors it. He still uses it, though, and it works just the same.

The lid comes with it, unlike one of her larger skillets. I rather enjoy the handle on the other side of the pan, opposite the main handle. They both are a soft, yet sturdy, material. If you use a gas range, please be careful with the back handle as it will catch on fire.

A fantastic buy!

I am new to the Rachael Ray line but my wife absolutely loves the cookware, lasagna pans, etc. I purchased this for a Christmas present and the qualit seems excellent.

After using this for the past month, I absolutely love the quality and how well food cooks. Great purchase!!!

If you haven't noticed by the picture, this pan is not circular, it's an oval. Therefore, when using it on my electric flat top range, it does heat, but it's not always even.

Honest reviews on Rachael Ray Hard Anodized II Nonstick Dishwasher Safe 5-Quart

I am a new fan of Rachael Ray's cookware, especially the hard-anodized. I love this pan, but because of it's size I think it needs a pour spout on the side. When it is full of food and you are holding it by the handle and the helper's handle and you tip the pan to pour out the contents, it just piles out the width of the pan and if the platter is not large enough you will get food on the counter and floor as I did tonight! I will be more careful next time and the oval shape does take some getting used to for balance, etc.

Also, the handle on the lid became extremely hot and I had to use a kitchen towel to remove it. The pan was not in the oven, just on top of the stove. I had not noticed that happening with the smaller size pans.

I still will continue to add to the set I have because I really do like this cookware and I have tried many name brands, some from shopping networks and some from high end retail stores and this cookware is comparable if not better than most.

And, it's fun to look at with Rachel's bright colors!
